Crysis 2 Torrent does a great job of showing a city under attack without using too many action movie scenes. There’s still a lot of movie-like stuff, but it feels natural. Sure, sometimes you just watch instead of doing it, and sometimes you can press a button to look at a big alien building far away. But instead of forcing you to watch every building fall or every alien ship floating around, Crysis 2 lets these things happen. And because they’re often so big, you can’t help but pay attention. Sometimes the game stops to think about how regular people might feel during an alien invasion, which adds humanity to your soldier’s actions.
You play as a marine named Alcatraz, and like Nomad in the first game, you wear a special suit called a nano suit. This suit makes you a soldier from the future; it lets you jump high, hide for a short time, and see things around you. You can also turn on a mode that makes you tougher. You get this suit from Prophet in the first game, and it’s a big part of the story. Someone wants that suit. So, you’re not just fighting aliens, but also regular soldiers who want you dead. The characters aren’t super interesting, and the story takes a while to get going.
The fights are great and surprising. Crysis 2 doesn’t just have you follow a set path; instead, you’re in big, open areas where you have to use different weapons and tactics. There are a few parts where you’re stuck on a set path or using a turret, but Crysis 2 is longer than most games today—about 10 hours—and each level has many parts. So, those parts don’t last too long, and the game feels like one big adventure instead of lots of small ones put together.
Crysis 2 Torrent looks amazing, though maybe not as amazing as you’d think for a sequel to one of the best-looking games ever. But it’s still impressive how much is happening on the screen at once, and faraway things look detailed. If you look closely, you’ll see birds walking around and then flying away when you get close. Alien ships make big shadows on the ground, and you’ll see abandoned cars.
In Crysis 2 Torrent Magnet, you can pick your weapons and special suit upgrades to make your soldier class. There are lots of upgrades, like shooting faster or knowing when enemies are close. Some you earn by being good at the game, and others come when you reach certain points. For example, you might get an upgrade by killing 150 enemies while using your armor. There are many ways to change your character, and the game modes are flexible too.
