A wide range of weapons is at your disposal, forming a varied arsenal for overcoming obstacles. Due to the apocalypse reducing most industries to ruins, both weapons and ammunition are typically makeshift, revealing a notable lack of quality control in the entry-level gear.
The shotguns in Metro 2033 Redux Torrent provide the most gratifying audio and on-screen impact. Even when outperformed by other weapons more suitable for specific missions, I ensured one of my three slots always housed a shotgun to experience the visceral “oomph” as my screen filled with red mist. The six-shooter revolver adheres to expectations: high damage, prolonged reload time, serving as a solid but basic option. However, its scarcity of ammunition in the ambient environment is oddly conspicuous.
